Why are you teaching your students about human rights?

I teach them that so they become assets in the society, they should also be able to defend the voiceless when they have the chance to

In my area where there is a sociopolitical turbulence, I have witnessed and lived human rights activists being at the forefront defending and speaking for the vulnerable, their activities in my locality has given me a clear view on what human rights projects are all about and what they mean to humanity.
